Ayuba Tongs, the chairman of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Plateau chapter, has called for improved welfare for magistrates and judiciary workers.
He decried the lack of shelter, quality education, and sustainable means of livelihood for the members in the state.
Plateau workers have commenced an indefinite strike after the failure of the government to meet their demands.
The organised labour in Plateau said there was no going back on the warning strike.
All Plateau workers, including those from the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have been mobilised to fully comply with the industrial action.
“Many farmers could no longer break even in the business,” a farmer lamented.
