Mr Garba assured of a level playing ground for all political parties during the 2023 general election adding that the police were committed to protecting the lives and property of citizens.
Friday Nnanna, Ebebeagu Commander in the state, said the killing of its personnel “happened on Sunday night at about 11:45 p.m.”
The gunmen had attacked a construction site in Ikwo community in an attempt to kidnap the site supervisor, Derry Gee.
The victim was killed on Wednesday in his house in Ezza North Local Government Area of the state.
The professor had once impregnated another teenager which led to her dropping out of school, the complainant said.
