The suspect was apprehended on Sunday, June 14 in Lagos, following complaints by some business owners.
The commissioner said the operation forms part of renewed efforts to strengthen security and improve vehicle identification across the state.
According to the police, all the victims are currently under protective custody.
Mr Egbetokun described the conference hall as a legacy project that symbolised continuity, vision, leadership and institutional excellence.
The command assured residents that all necessary legal actions would be taken.
The spokesperson said efforts were ongoing to apprehend other members of the gang still at large.
She stated that the suspect confessed that the gang had just concluded a robbery in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, and planned to regroup at the hotel in Mushin.
Mr Jimoh condemned the unprofessional conduct seen in the Alakuko video.
Mr Hundeyin said that the CP arrived at the scene within minutes for an on-the-spot assessment.
“Corpse has been removed and deposited at Mainland General Hospital Morgue, Yaba, for autopsy, ” he said.
