Mr Alamutu stated that the suspects were located in a bush they were hiding through a covert operation of the police.
The police command on Thursday arrested a seven-man gang that specialised in trading inhuman parts for rituals.
“He was taken to Abeokuta by the police,” she said.
The police spokesperson said the suspect was disguised in a vigilante uniform and had masterminded several criminal activities.
The teacher had told the police that he had prevented one of the students from being involved in malpractice during an examination in the school.
Mr Oyeyemi gave the suspects’ names as Oshole Fayemi, 60; Oseni Adesanya, 39; Ismaila Seidu, 30; Oseni Oluwasegun, 69; and Lawal Olaiya, 50.
The police gave the names of the suspects as Umar Haruna, Abbah Yahaya, Muritala Umar, Wale Fadeyi and Segun Olofinmade.
The 27-year-old suspected armed robber was arrested on his way to carry out an operation at Obasanjo farm junction in Sango-Ota.
