The police command in Rivers has confirmed the deaths of two adults and a toddler following the capsizing of a passenger boat on Sunday evening.
The police command in Rivers has announced the arrest of Nwile Bete, a 30-year-old suspected kidnap kingpin, during an operation in Port Harcourt.
SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the spokesperson for the command, said in Port Harcourt that police were already in pursuit of the abductors.
The victims, consisting of two adult males and 10 pregnant women, including teenagers, were allegedly brainwashed forcefully kept in the factories by the operators.
The church had invited members of the public to an event where it would share some gift items, including foodstuffs.
