The police in Jigawa have arrested an ex-convict for allegedly stealing a car in Jahun Local Government Area (LGA).
The suspect revealed that he developed hatred for the deceased and could not afford to be feeding someone else’s child.
The suspect is said to be a member of a syndicate that recently kidnapped 22-year-old housewife Hadiza Alhaji-Chad.
The victim, who was earlier reported missing, was later said to have hung himself to a tree using his trousers on Monday.
The father had taken his 18-year-old son to the security man to be punished for stealing corn from a farm.
