Political opponents and civic groups have condemned the ruling of a five-member Appeal Court panel, led by Haruna Simon Tsamani, as riddled with blatant injustice.
A panel of appellate jurists affirmed the February 2023 declaration of Bola Tinubu as the winner of Nigeria’s presidential election on Wednesday night.
The president’s office said he welcomed affirmation of his election with an intense sense of solemn responsibility and preparedness to serve all Nigerians.
Nigeria is presently torn between allowing Peter Mbah to remain as a governor and sustaining the NYSC scheme. One must give way for the other to remain in place.

NNPP on Tuesday expelled its chairman of board of trustees Boniface Aniebonam and several other national officers over alleged anti-party activities.
“We don’t want to hear the stories of the COVID-19 era where palliatives were hoarded and not given to the right people,” said the Coalition of South-East Youth Leaders.
The PDP said this in a statement by its national publicity secretary, Debo Ologunagba in Abuja on Monday.
“Youths that worked to sustain APC leadership in the country need to be recognised, patronised, and appreciated.”
