The NLC president said that the proposed hike would lead to a ripple effect by other product or service providers in the country.
The governor ordered that all petrol stations in the state dispense of fuel in their reservoirs to ease the long hours that people spent at fuel stations.
On Friday, long queues of vehicles were seen at all the stations that have the petroleum product in the city.
The Fire Service said it had warned fuel station owners to always discharge their products when the intensity of the sun’s heat is not high.
Mr Danmadami said the troops also destroyed 953 cooking ovens, 68 wooden boats, 172 storage tanks and 149 dugout pits within the period.
Mr Jaiyeoba said that the total Duty Paid Value (DPV) of the seized items was put at N192.2 million.
Mr Afunnaya hinted that the fuel scarcity is artificially created by a deliberate decision of service stations.

The regulator assured that the prevailing fuel crisis ravaging various parts of the country would soon disappear.
Spokesperson Andy Odeh said the decision was taken after all of NLNG’s upstream gas suppliers announced force majeure.
