Gabon military ruler General Brice Nguema has ordered the release of his cousin, ousted President Ali Bongo, from detention.
Mr Uwak, in a statement on Sunday in Abuja, condemned the latest coup in the country.
The loot is said have allegedly been found in the house of Yann Ngulu, Chief of Staff to Nourredine Bongo, the eldest son of deposed President Bongo.
“I am very happy with what happened in Gabon. I don’t like military inclusion in politics,” Mr Fayose said
Africa has experienced seven coups since August 2020, before the one on Wednesday in Gabon. Others are Niger, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Mali, Guinea, and Chad.
