Through its Primary Healthcare Development Agency, the Kwara government will commence the measles vaccination for children of nine to 59 months from October 26 to November 1.
“Between March 2021 and October 2022, 500,000 residents in Cross River have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.”
The campaign was partly necessitated by the virus outbreak in some parts of Cross River.
State health officials said immunisation was the best way to protect children against diarrhoea caused by Rotavirus.
Adamawa state has recorded 60 suspected cholera cases in the state, according to the coordinator, Cholera Containment Committee in the state, Selin La’ori.
