The suspects were said to have also stolen a motorcycle last year and sold it at the rate of N40,000 to a yet-to-be-identified person.
The police said the deceased officers had on June 2 confronted unknown gunmen who attacked them while on duty at Nkpamte community of Igbo-Eze North LGA.
“Most of the homicide cases are in connection with either disputes on farmlands or clashes between youths.”
