Information minister Mohammed Idris made the call at a stakeholders meeting for resident information officers in Abuja.
Mr Achiatar said the reform would boost Nigeria’s technological manpower and drive the economy.

The group said the initiative would strengthen grassroots participation in policy implementation and consolidate support for Mr Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The facilities were inaugurated by the Minister for Livestock Development, Idi Maiha, in Zaria.
Mr Magaji said the items would be distributed across communities and wards in the spirit of unity and inclusiveness.
Mr Pate said the initiative is in furtherance of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the health sector.
The SSG said that Nasarawa has a large number of APC members and supporters, and the number of registered party members should reflect this strength.
The latest development came weeks after ASUU accepted a 40 per cent salary increase for academic staff.
