The lawmakers made the call at the award ceremony organised by the House of Representatives Press Corps on Sunday in Abuja.

Introduced in 2019 and referred to the Committee on National Security and Intelligence, the bill will help advance the war against insecurity.
Mr Fulata said tax evasion by the oil companies, particularly the International Oil Companies (IOC), deprived Nigeria of revenues.
“It behoves the minister to provide detailed explanations on its demand for amendment of the 2022 appropriation as it affects the Ministry.”
The lawmakers said that Nigeria was losing revenue through Nigerian students who school abroad due to incessant strikes.
The lawmaker’s said the CBN has deviated from its primary function of monetary policy to focus on fiscal policy measures, a function of the Ministry of Finance.
