Mr Marwa was reappointed by President Bola Tinubu for a second tenure of five years on Friday.
A statement by the NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said the substances were on 1.577683 hectares of farmland.
NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi said the drugs were intercepted at a courier firm in Lagos on Friday, February 23, by operatives.
“As mothers, we understand the profound impact that drug abuse can have on our children’s lives.”
“We expect our officers to be the epitome of service, selflessness and sacrifice,” he added.
According to him, the bilateral relationships have been crucial to NDLEA’s interdiction exercises in the past year.
Mr Babafemi said 14 grammes of methamphetamine concealed in bags of semovita and soles of ladies’ high-heeled shoes were also intercepted.
He said 10.5 kg of Loud was recovered in his apartment.
Mr Marwa said the 2018 drug survey figure of 10.6 million Nigerians abusing cannabis alone was enough to sound the alarm bell.
