Mr Marwa said that out of the 32,000, NDLEA secured 9,034 convictions, with over 12,000 other cases going on in court.
The UN chief commended Mr Marwa for providing NDLEA with exemplary leadership.
Mr Yusuf said this manifested in a long line of victims awaiting admission at NDLEA’s rehabilitation centre, Aba.
He said the move was undoubtedly a benchmark for information and intelligence sharing.
The U.S. plans to strengthen the forensic and chemical analysis capacity, intelligence gathering and prosecution capabilities of the NDLEA.
The agency also arrested 29 drug barons as well as counselled and rehabilitated 16,114 within the period under review.
He was on his way from Lagos to Niger Republic through the North West where he sells drugs to bandits.
