The Lagos government said it paid another set of 1,455 retirees N4.48 billion on Thursday as accrued pensions disbursed for March.
He, however, stressed the importance of proper financial planning and management during retirement.
Mr Adeleke said the beneficiaries cut across primary school teachers and local government staff, among other retirees.
The retirees are expected to complete the verification and enrolment on or before December 31.

Suggestion on the 75 per cent lump sum was made in the Pension Reform Amendment Bill currently before the National Assembly.
