The governor named the flyover after Afenifere leader, Reuben Fasoranti.
The governor stressed that the gains of the democratic journey must be consolidated to build a more inclusive and accountable society.
According to the statement, all appointments take immediate effect.
Mr Adebanjo died on Friday at his residence in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Mr Omololu disagreed with the appointment of Mr Farotimi, describing the Fasoranti’s faction of Afenifere as the “authentic” group.
Afenifere said the review should include accelerating actions on the decision of the government to have state police in the country.
Afenifere noted the protest was a way for the citizens to vent their anger, adding that it was aware of the economic challenges in the country.
He noted that the farmers also raised concerns about the neglect of farming.
Mr Tinubu’s visit came three months after the demise of Mr Akeredolu.
Mr Akeredolu’s widow stated this during President Bola Tinubu’s visit to the late governor’s family members in his hometown of Owo on Wednesday.
