Governor Uba Sani has approved the payment of compensation to 189 households affected by the ongoing road construction across four major road corridors in Rigasa community.
At the resumption of service on Monday, passengers using the 24-seater coaches were charged N9,000, up from N7,000.
NRC managing director Fidet Okhiria said on Saturday in a statement that a tweak has been made on operational time and boarding requirements for passengers.
“Train from Kaduna to Abuja is now 15-20k. Online booking is also down,” a Twitter user posted on Tuesday morning.
Sunday Abel, a driver, said as against the usual two to three trips he made daily to Abuja since Thursday last week, he makes two trips to and from Abuja.
