The pro-Wike Rivers House of Assembly lawmakers have withdrawn the impeachment notice served on Mr Fubara.
Mr Damagum said for the avoidance of doubt, there was no division in the PDP.
Wike will not be judged by his conquests in Rivers State, so Fubara may level the entire Port Harcourt if he chooses.
He also noted that there was no crisis or division in the PDP, as it had continued to operate with an undivided national leadership.
Major Jack and Franklin Nwabochi have emerged as majority leader and chief whip of the Rivers House of Assembly.
The court adjourned until November 27 for hearing.
The elder statesman called on President Bola Tinubu to direct security agencies in Rivers to avert any untold crisis in the state.
The commissioners are Chinedum Mmon for Education; Zacheaus Adango as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Isaac Kamalu for Finance, and George Kyeli for Works.
House members were divided on certain clauses of the bill, such as the one that allows a pathway for cattle in communities.
