The Nigerian Exchange Ltd rebounded on Tuesday, reversing several days of bearish trends, with a gain of N101 billion.
The All-Share Index also fell 0.16, or 163 points, to settle at 99,630.51, compared to 99,793.71 recorded on Monday.
The positive performance was driven by stocks of Zenith Bank, Airtel Africa and Wapco.
Accordingly, investors gained N1 billion in value as market capitalisation closed at N26.915 trillion from N26.914 trillion on Monday.
The market’s performance was primarily driven by gains in stocks of Nigerian Breweries and BUA Cement.
