The governor said more farmers would be given improved oil palm seedlings and grants.
He said about 1,500 kilometres of rural roads have been completed under the project.
According to him, the contracts were awarded after a thorough evaluation process.
He said that the RAAMP project was ongoing and had been implemented across 19 states of the federation.
“The contracts have been duly procured by the World Bank in accordance with the international best practices,” the governor said.
“This is so significant in the area of provision of food security…especially now that the country is facing an unprecedented high cost of food items.
The loan is meant for rural roads, agriculture market and value chain development, the governor’s spokesman, said.
