KANSIEC declared candidates of the NNPP as winners of Saturday’s elections in all 44 local government areas and 484 wards.
“We said no to bribery, vote-buying, and thuggery before, during and after the elections,’’ the electoral commission chairman stated.
The judge held that Mr Zakirai was not qualified to be appointed to the position pursuant to Section 14 of the KANSIEC Law 2001.
The commission had fixed N10 million and N5 million nomination fees for the chairmanship and councillorship positions.
“The dialogue did not yield any result. These bandits still terrorise and kill our people, rape our women, leaving so many people as orphans,” said the CNG president.
