No fewer than 20 persons had died between Thursday and Saturday following cholera outbreak in the state.
The escalation has brought the number of children casualties – killed or injured to 11,000.
The government said efforts were underway to restore a cleaner Anambra that was “under threat as a result of unfriendly attitude of some residents.”
The government said it would not condone the disregard of the monthly sanitation exercise by residents.
“It is imperative to implore residents in the state to take the daily sanitation exercise seriously.”
The prosecutor said the suspects were transacting private businesses during sanitation exercise.
The group is drawing awareness to gastroenteritis viruses, which kill 221,000, including 87,000 under five children, yearly.
