The police prosecutor said that the defendants assaulted the complainant, Ebunola Akingboju, by hitting her with a stick following a dispute over farmland.
They were arraigned on a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and illegal mining.
A couple were arraigned on Thursday before the Okitipupa Chief Magistrates’ Court in Ondo over alleged N3 million fraud.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The prosecutor said the offences contravened sections 516, 394 and 390(9) of the Criminal Code Laws of Ogun, 2006.
