Mr Aliyu said it was in the interest of justice for the court to grant the reliefs sought in the originating summons.
Mr Aliyu stated that the party accepted the apex court’s decision, adding that the BOT had stepped in to provide leadership to avoid a vacuum.
“The BOT, therefore, strongly denounces the statements, actions, and media pronouncements by individuals who were lawfully expelled from the party,” said the statement.
Mr Anyanwu added that the NEC also approved a party-wide reconciliation initiative to heal divisions and rebuild trust
Mr Ohuabunwa affirmed the BoT’s support for the conduct of a credible, transparent and inclusive national convention.
Mr Manga prayed to God to give the Makarfi family the fortitude to bear the loss.
