The hospital had confirmed a $30,000 bill for Mr Kontagora, who represented Niger North Senatorial District from 2011 to 2015, but he was only able to deposit $15,000.
Mr Abdullahi urged northern leaders to stand against impostors manipulating government support systems.
Mr Abdullahi said that the dairy policy would increase food and nutritional security.
Mr Abdullahi said that according to the CBN Nigeria spends 1.5 billion dollars per annum to import dairy products.
“We cannot create the export market or feed our people unless we transform the cassava into higher value products.’’
