The Jigawa State governor’s wife thanked Mrs Tinubu for the donation to support the families of the victims.
Mrs Shettima said that they earlier donated N500 million to the state government through the Renewed Hope Programme.
Mrs Ododo said the collective efforts would help to drive home the message that tuberculosis is preventable, treatable and curable.
The monarch said, “President Tinubu means well for Nigerians and he is a man who is grassroots focused.’’
“I commiserate with Hajia Nana Shettima on the demise of her beloved mother, Hajia Maryam.’’
“My thoughts and prayers are with those grieving the immense losses.’’
Mrs Tinubu said the acquisition of the high endurance offshore patrol vessels was another feat in the Tinubu administration.
“We should promote our ‘Nigerianness’ rather than ethnicity or culture…we should realise and promote our togetherness,” said the first lady.
The minister said 51 mobile digital X-ray platforms has been deployed nationwide.
It follows the tradition of Nigerian first ladies who set up women-focused pet projects once their husbands assume office.
