South Korea’s former first lady, Kim Keon Hee, on Wednesday, was sentenced to 20 months in prison for bribery.
South Korea’s former President Yoon Suk Yeol was on Friday sentenced to five years in prison for obstruction of justice.
The decision to detain Ms Hak came almost a month after the former first lady was arrested and charged to court on bribery and other fraud offences.
