Mr Mohammed said that the market was sealed alongside the Ariaria drug market in Aba and the Onitsha drug market in Anambra State.
He said the supermarket violated NAFDAC regulations.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control on Wednesday raided an illegal alcoholic drink factory in the Lugbe axis of Abuja.
The director said arresting the hawkers would help NAFDAC in tracking sources of counterfeit products.
The director encouraged the public to report violations, such as selling expired, damaged, or adulterated products, to the nearest NAFDAC office.
Mr Mohammed explained that during the exercise, two supermarkets and two pharmaceutical outlets were sealed.
