The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has urged Nigerians battling drug dependence to seek help through its 24-hour counselling and referral service.
He described substance abuse as a major threat to public health, security, family stability and national development.
Mr Marwa emphasised the critical role of parents in drug abuse prevention, urging them to instil sound moral values in their children.

According to him, the bilateral relationships have been crucial to NDLEA’s interdiction exercises in the past year.
Mr Marwa said over 11,000 pending cases and 23,725 offenders were counselled and rehabilitated.
