The magistrate adjourned the matter until May 25 for further hearing.
Mr Ferrari said that the suspension was part of the process to sanitise the party of corruption.
The defectors were received by SDP national chairman, Shehu Gabam, at the party national secretariat in Abuja.
Mr Gabam said the SDP condemned the removal of Mr Ndume as chief whip of the Senate for criticising the government, its programmes and policies.
Mr Gabam said that the act was a welcome development.
“Looking at present reality in the country, everyone, both the leaders and the led, have failed the country,” said Mr Abdullahi.
“It is the executive and INEC that conduct election in Nigeria,’’ he said.
Senator-elect Ahmed Wadada is representing Nasarawa-West Senatorial District in the 10th Assembly.
“The election has been won and lost. What is right in the true interest of our country.”
Mr Wale Sulaiman promised that the $10 million investment would cater to the health and education of residents in the district.
