“All along, I have been doing it with the government and there is no difference between us and the authority. So people should have their peace.”
The students were finally released after 55 days in captivity. The terms of their release were not immediately stated.
“We are in a war situation. As we are talking now, they (military) are dropping bombs on them (bandits).
“We have the resources. It’s just misapplication or underutilisation that has affected our ability to deal with these people.”
