Mr Agara said the centre in Ogbona is designed to empower young people with vocational skills and reduce unemployment.
Mr Agaras said that 31 countries, alongside host Nigeria, would slug it out in four categories of the sport.
He said the agency had remained committed to creating jobs and empowering Nigerian citizens through various programmes.
Mr Agara said, “Inclusiveness has been a cardinal consideration as we designed this programme.
Mr Agara said that 10 unemployed persons were selected from each of the 147 wards of the 13 local government areas.
The DG, represented by Chris Bamsida, Taraba coordinator of NDE, stated that the beneficiaries were drawn from the 168 electoral wards across Taraba.
Ms Agara died on June 25, 2024, at a hospital in Abuja following a protracted illness.
