NDLEA has intercepted multiple consignments of illicit drugs concealed in tins of Cerelac baby food and clothes going to the U.S. and UK.
Mr Babafemi said the NDLEA operatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos, recovered the drugs.
In a statement on Sunday in Abuja, the NDLEA said the suspect, Obiorah Chigozie, had been on the wanted list of the agency since September 15.
The illicit drug consignment weighing 30.10 kilogrammes with a street value of N567 million was detected and seized by NDLEA operatives at the airport on Tuesday, May 16.
The drugs originated from India and Pakistan and were routed through Addis-Ababa to Lagos, having an estimated duty-paid value (DPV) of N13.8 billion.
Twenty four hours after putting him under excretion observation, the suspect excreted 39 wraps of cocaine.
