He emphasised that residents had long relied on unsafe water sources.

Ms Yonah said the figure was just for women accessing family planning from the private CPs and PPMVs in the state’s 13 local government areas (LGAs).
According to him, everyone should have access to affordable, quality health services.
He also said that it was time for countries, including Nigeria, to renew their commitment by translating their promise into action.
The government is collaborating with the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP) and two other NGOs to distribute over 3.7 million nets in the state.
