NJC said Justices Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court, G. B. Brikins-Okolosi of the Delta High Court, and Amina Shehu of the Yobe High Court are receiving warning letters.
Ms Musa promised to relay the observation to the justices who delivered the ruling.
The NJC stated this on Friday in a statement signed by the director of information, Soji Oye.
“She has retired from service. No disciplinary action can be taken against any retired official,” Mr Oye said.
“From what I saw there and what I heard, the question you asked me should be directed to the National Judicial Council. They are the ones in charge of judges and their actions.”
In strong terms, the National Judicial Council ( NJC) has condemned the refusal of state governments to pay retirement benefits to judges.
Three judges involved in granting ex parte orders in the matter between former National Chairman Uche Secondus and the PDP were barred from promotion.
All the recommended candidates are to be sworn in after approval by the president, their respective state governors and confirmation by the State Houses of Assembly.
Mr Oye advised the public against downloading any form online or paying anyone for any recruitment.
Adedayo Akintoye’s discreet ownership of lavish assets reflects a meshing of civil service and luxury lifestyles now increasingly seen amongst government officials in Nigeria.
