The Tertiary Education Trust Fund says it is set to develop a comprehensive security master plan to strengthen security at tertiary institutions nationwide.
Mr Echono stressed that reforms must align with curricula, teaching, and institutional priorities in light of 21st-century economic realities.
Mr Echono also revealed that TETFund was scaling up support for research laboratories, digital learning systems, and sustainable power projects.
He said the university would serve as a catalyst for social and economic development.
He said TETFund was focused on expanding and improving its revenue collection framework.
Mr Echono said this was part of TETFund’s contribution to the nation’s quest to tap into the multitrillion-dollar global digital economy.
