Another 103,000 South Sudanese have sought refuge in neighbouring countries, pushing the total number of South Sudanese refugees to 2.3 million.

South Sudan secured its independence from Sudan in 2011 but soon fell into a brutal civil war.
The NCA said the social media ban is necessary to prevent the spread of violent content, particularly videos depicting brutal attacks on women and children.
