The police spokesperson said the motorcyclist also stole his passenger’s iPhone XS Max valued at N320,000, Samsung Galaxy A71 valued at N150,000, Airtel Wi-Fi costing N10,000.
The police have warned against the setting aside of August 8 (8/8) to celebrate cultism, saying any unlawful gathering would not be tolerated.
Ms Opalola said that organisers of the hunger protest in the state promised to suspend activity for the festival.
The police said the warning became necessary due to the increasing number of reported cases of motorcycle snatching in Osun.
