He was arrested while on an errand to transport four RPG tubes, three AK-47s and two empty magazines to a destination in Funtua, Katsina State.

Mr Ndibe has previously been arrested and detained by the SSS on two different occasions in 2011 and 2017.
SERAP further noted that such authoritarian practices would ultimately fail.
Mr El-Rufai’s aide noted that the SSS committed flaws bordering on incompetence, non-disclosure of the offence and gross abuse of the court process.
The SSS operatives accused the defendants of making a false claim that Ms John and Mr Ogunleye invaded SERAP’s Abuja office.
The prosecution also tendered 30 photographs taken at the scene of the incident by investigators, which the court admitted as Exhibits M–M30.
He added, “I am further directed to state that the allegation has been formally referred to the Department of State Services for a comprehensive investigation.”
He described the security of lives and property as the primary duty of government at all levels.
