The NSCDC boss charged deployed officers to work in synergy with other security agencies and to discharge their duties with patriotism and professionalism.
According to the commandant, the arrest was made following an intelligence tip-off.
He called on the public to always provide the command with verifiable information.
Mr Labaran stated that the state commandant, Muhammadu Dansadau, ordered the deployment of personnel across all 23 local government areas.
According to Mr Willie, the additional stations are expected to be established within January.
Mr Mustapha said that the officer was allegedly found with some elements suspected to be cannabis and other hard drugs.
Yobe NSCDC commandant Adamu Zakari directed the deployment of the operatives across the state’s 17 local government areas ahead of the Sallah festival.
On Tuesday, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara Command, decorated 950 promoted officers with new ranks.
“We must ensure that we are awake to enable Benue people to sleep with their two eyes closed”, the statement said.
The commandant said that it was the responsibility of the corps to protect critical national assets and infrastructure, not to destroy them.
