Mr Moujeke said that the elections would provide an opportunity for Nigerians to vote their direct and closest representatives into government.
The governor said that voting for all APGA candidates would ensure the provision of dividends of democracy to the people of the state.
At the inauguration ceremony, the governor told the audience that it was part of his campaign promises to the people of the LGA.
“Talking about 148,000 defectors at Kogi rally by PDP is too ridiculous and not true,” Mr Fanwo said.
Another N5 billion would be spent on security vehicles, and N700 million for security equipment and infrastructure.
Abubakar Olawoyin, who represented Ilorin Central Constituency, died in the early hours of Monday during a brief illness.
The appropriation bill comprise recurrent expenditure of N344 billion and capital expenditure of N356 billion.
The budget has N105 billion earmarked as recurrent expenditure and over N70 billion for capital expenditure.
Mr Ugwuanyi said the “Budget of Consolidation and Transition” is 10.73 per cent lower than the N186 billion presented in 2022.
The budget tagged “Budget of Continuity for Sustainability,” is N34 billion lower than N267.9 billion for 2022.
