Mr Shiisu said both suspects and the vehicle had been taken into custody for further investigation, after which they would be charged to court.
The police spokesperson said apart from 92 other suspects would be arraigned once investigations were complete.
Mr Osifeso noted that efforts were currently in top gear to apprehend members of the criminal network behind the abduction.
Godwin Edoh, a member representing the Agatu constituency in the state House of Assembly, also confirmed the attack but put the number of victims at 12.
The Nasarawa State Commissioner of Police, Umar Nadada, appreciated the operatives for their gallantry.

The state police public relations officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued on Sunday in Kaduna.
Mr Ndukwe said that the masquerader was later identified as one Ugwuoke Ebube aged 22, of Enugu Road, Nsukka.
“One of the bandits, who escaped and went to seek treatment at a hospital in Wase, was arrested with gunshot wounds.’’
The police spokesperson said the incident happened on Friday.
