The president said the participating transport companies will be able to access credit under the “facility at 9% per annum with 60 months repayment period.”

In a nationwide broadcast on Monday, Mr Tinubu said money saved from subsidy removal will be used for the benefit of citizens.
Mr Fatuase said the atmosphere and state workers are already “charged”, especially as they are affected by the increase in petrol pump prices.
This, he said, would cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal on the part of the women traders who are most vulnerable.
Mr Ajakaye said that on top of the palliatives is a cash support of N10,000 for every public sector worker in the state.
According to him, this is a wrong impression and the public needs to be re-oriented on this perspective.
Mr Ologunagba added that even with the subsidy removal on petroleum products, fuel should be sold for at most N150 per litre in Nigeria.
“President Bola Tinubu would have consulted us before the removal of the fuel subsidy. No palliatives will solve this issue of hike in fuel pump price.”
