He said drug abuse posed a serious challenge and all hands must be on deck to address it.
Mr Marwa said NDLEA was currently deploying personnel to all local government areas to further its advocacy against drug abuse.
He described women as caregivers and key nurturers, adding that NDLEA was taking sensitisation to the grassroots to address the drug abuse menace.
According to her, it is imperative to make youths understand the mental health implications of their action in abusing drugs.
“I believe as of now, in 2023, if we take another statistics, it will be higher than it was in 2021. Nigeria as a nation cannot allow things to continue that way.”
