He, however, assured the state government of more support from the institute as it partners with it to deliver on its mandates.
This is according to a statement issued on Monday in Ibadan by the chief press secretary to the Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
He promised that his government would pay the two months deductions owed the workers with their August salary.
The governor added that it was his prayer that God would grant the Olubadan more years in good health and with more wisdom to lead his people.
Mr Makinde said the new ministry would help his government focus on tourism as a key sector driving the state’s economy.
