The Plateau State Emergency Management Agency on Monday visited and commiserated with victims of attacks in the 11 communities of Qua’an Pan LGA, Plateau.
“The problems required painful policies to be put in place, which made life painful at the moment.”
Mr Abdu said that the workshop was a crucial step towards enhancing the understanding of risk analysis and its application in Nigeria.
NEMA’s DG, Mohammed Habib, said the agency would conduct an on-the-spot assessment of Plateau communities when peace returned.
The NEMA official appealed to the state government to ensure residents vacate flood-prone areas.
