Mr Adeyemo urged the youth in the South-West to unite against banditry and kidnapping.
Mr Igboho said, “If you know that you are crazy, campaign for one Atiku or Obi in Yorubaland.”
The nonagenarian blamed President Buhari for the growing calls for secession around the country.
The protesters maintained that Mr Igboho is a freedom fighter who should not be treated like a criminal.
Human rights lawyer Femi Falana said SSS acted like armed robbers by nocturnally raiding the home of Sunday Igboho without search warrant.
Igboho later told the media that he was disappointed that he was attacked by men of SSS without committing any offence.
Police authorities have hitherto refrained from carrying out the arrest until now.
