The vice president reiterated the importance of seizing opportunities, particularly in the digital space.
“The ministry is determined to take steps to sanitise the system,” he said.
The minister said the 18-year benchmark is in line with the 6-3-3-4 education system.
Mr Tinubu said, “In alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda, our administration is committed to enhancing funding and support for educational institutions.”
Mr Tinubu said the federal government would also establish entrepreneurship centres in universities nationwide.
Mr Mamman gave the assurance during a meeting with the leadership of the committee of Provost of Colleges of Education.
“They are criminals and you know there is no timeframe to criminality.”
The ministry said it was putting in place mechanisms to sanitise the education sector.
The Minister for Education, Tahir Mamman, says inclusivity and religious tolerance in educational institutions in Nigeria remain the hallmark of democratic ideals.
Mr Tinubu reiterated his commitment to the education sector in line with the 2030 education agenda of the government and African Union goal 2063.
