The vice-chancellor said the grants underscored growing local and international confidence in FUT Minna’s research capacity, accountability and innovation drive.
Mr Echono said that under Mr Tinubu’s administration, funds for the development of tertiary education across benefiting institutions had been approved swiftly.
He said the projects would elevate the quality of training, research, innovation and healthcare delivery.
Mr Echono stressed that reforms must align with curricula, teaching, and institutional priorities in light of 21st-century economic realities.
The new facility comprises 22 en-suite offices, four 200-seater lecture theatres, and 12 public conveniences.
Mr Ubwa also said that the university promoted 120 senior lecturers/readers to the ranks of associate professors and professors.
Mr Diri said the adoption of biomedical engineering and emergency medicine was necessary because the subsisting medical practice in Nigeria was still traditional.
He said the exercise was designed to help the trainees engage in poultry production and cope with the current economic conditions.
